You visited the Cemetery today and found this.........
Earlier this week, I received a call from a client in Washington State. She and her husband had recently visited her father’s and mother-in-law’s headstones in Temecula.
When they arrived at the cemetery, her husband was nearly brought to tears by the condition of the headstones. Years of neglect and exposure had taken a visible toll, and it was heartbreaking to see loved ones memorialized in that state.
Determined to find help, my client searched online and came across my work. I went out to the cemetery to investigate and immediately saw the challenge ahead. The stones were covered in extremely heavy hard-water scaling—thick, layered mineral buildup so severe that I wasn’t certain it could be fully removed.
Using a combination of experience, problem-solving, and a few techniques I’ve developed over time, I decided to try something new. With a large rainstorm approaching, I employed a method I’ve been refining—allowing the weather to assist in softening the hardened mineral deposits while carefully protecting and preparing the stone.
The result was remarkable. The hard water deposits softened, lifted, and revealed a transformation that restored dignity and respect to the headstones once again.
Moments like this are why I do this work—bringing peace to families and honoring the memories entrusted to stone.
